Program Overview

Students that successfully complete the CNAS Learning Communities program and have a strong interest in research are encouraged to apply as a CNAS Scholars Fellow for the summer following their first year as a participant in RISE. We will select students using the RISE GENERAL APPLICATION. 

Eligibility

• First-year students that successfully complete the CNAS Learning Community program or stay enrolled from fall to spring are encouraged to apply as a CNAS Scholars Fellow for the summer following their first year.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Application Overview

• The application requires a personal essay, career interests, transcripts, and a faculty reference (name, email, department)
• UCR students should use a R'mail account when filling out the application
